Thorge Berger published in Fotoespresso (issue 2016-01)

Today (15.02.2016) my first article as an author for travel photography has been published in a magazine called Fotoespresso. In the article I explain why I think that being successful as a travel photographer starts with thoroughly planning your trips, and in particular with planning your trip around festivals and events. “Fotoespresso” is a photo magazine published only digitally as pdf. It comes out 6 times a year and is edited by dpunkt Verlag Heidelberg. Even though the magazine can be downloaded for free, layout and production are as professional as any print magazine you can buy. Its circulation is quiet considerable: 16.500 subscribers and about 18.000 downloads per issue.

Many of you might know the dpunkt Verlag as one of the leading publishers for photo books in Germany. So I am kind of proud that my contribution became cover photo and leading article with 6 pages and 8 photos in this issue! I am very happy 🙂

You can download the magazine with my article here  (unfortunately only available in German)  hier herunter laden … if you are catching on, you also can subscribe to Fotoespresso via this link.

I’d like to say thank you very much again to the dito in chief Steffen Körber for trusting me and giving me this opportunity, and to Andree Trefferfeld for his support with my article during our photo expedition in Myanmar.
I wish you all a lot of fun reading it!
