Exhibition Recommendation: “Gesichter” (Faces) from Ulrich Wolf

My friend and fellow photographer Ulrich Wolf has a new exhibition.
Under the title “Gesichter” (faces) some of his wonderful portraits will be on display at the Café Einhorn (Duisburger Str. 127 – 45479 Mülheim a.d. Ruhr). The exhibition lasts from April 14th until May 31st.

Uli joined me during our photography expedition to Bhutan in 2014 and among others the title photo for his exhibition was shot there. But besides other photos from Bhutan you will also find gorgeous portraits and from India, Cuba and China on display. All pictures are vivid prints framed neutrally in ‘Halbe’ frames which leave the focus on his photos. Uli is a  ein brilliant and empathetic observer and photographer with the right sense for ‘the perfect moment’. You will see this in his pictures. A visit of his Exhibition will be worthwhile  – particularly if you like the atmosphere in Cafés.
The Café Einhorn is a wonderfully refurbished old Drugstore (Apotheke) with plenty of charm on it’s own! In addition I can highly recommend the available coffee and cakes at very reasonable prices … My recommendation: Don’t miss it!
The exhibition runs until May 31st.

By the way:
You can combine your visit perfectly well with a stop at the  “Camera Obscura” Mühlheim, a Museum about the pre-developments before movie making. It is at the Broicher Wasserturm: http://www.camera-obscura-muelheim.de
